X-Ray
X-Ray, is a kind of radiation which can penetrate through the human body and project onto a film or a detector. It is widely used in showing foreign objects inside your body, the status of fracture, mammography and bone densitometry. X-Ray is not expensive. Although X-Ray involves radiation, the radiation dose is very low. For example, the amount of radiation dose of a chest X-Ray examination is equal to that of the cosmic radiation dose received from universe during a flight flying from Hong Kong to Japan.

The examination time takes 5 - 10 minutes, depending on body region. During examination, the patient needs to stand still in front of the film or lie down on the table. The patients should keep steady when radiographers are taking photos outside the X-Ray room.
